Product: Gator Guard™ "[One company] said they liked the ASGCO return idler guard because it's easier to clean by pulling the pin (all sales talk, because they hadn't installed one yet). I asked them to install one of theirs alongside one of ours and yesterday we did the test. Their superintendent worked on theirs at the same time I worked on ours. I just hit it with my hand a few times and it was clean in under 10 seconds. "[He] took about 30 seconds to remove the now-dirty pin, which allowed him to clean one side only, then he dropped the pin in the dirt and it took another 20 seconds to find it, while I stood and watched. "He agreed ours was better and was glad an MSHA inspector was not observing his performance around a moving belt." – Alan Swift, Tons Per Hour (distributor) 8.16.2007 Product: Cleaners, Liners, Skirting "We have installed several belt scrapers, replacement blades, ceramic chute liners and 1/2" x 6" skirting. All the above products have performed well. We are especially impressed with the urethane-encased ceramic blocks. I have installed Kryptane liners in many high flow problem areas where other products have failed, due to premature wear of the lining material. Generally I would replace the old liner each year, but after installing Kyptane, the maintenance schedule has decreased substantially. I have not had to replace any of these liners installed over the last ten years.
